Made from Scratch
Enjoyment is one of the best things when it comes to made from scratch items. All of our pastries, bread and baked goods are made on our organic farm, 10 minutes from Ridgetown, Ontario. Natural & Organic ingredients are used to create Dough and Batter Bakehouse’s wonderful pastries. Organic flour, sugars, butter, cream, free range eggs, ethically sourced chocolate, & pure extracts are some of the ingredients in our creations.
Food & Community
Food has a special ability to bring people together. For me, baking and cooking together builds the best communities. Come and experience an authentic farm to table cooking or baking class. We offer a wide array of classes to choose from. Enjoy an evening of Tuscan food paired with a wine from one of the local winery, or learn how to make beautiful pastries that will inspire you create them at home. The premise of all our classes is to provide you with an experience, recipes that you can replicate at home and an day of absolute fun and laughter! Participants leave with recipes in hand and a fresh new approach to seasonal cooking and appreciation of where food comes from.
Farm to Table
The perfect combination between a bakehouse and a farm is using ingredient from our farm whenever possible. To farm and grow our produce, in a way that is as environmentally responsible as possible , As ever, in our endeavor we strive for what is in season produce. It is a more sustainable, locally focused method. Focusing on fresh, organic produced foods. This is the core of the farm to table concept. Starting from Farm to Kitchen and Kitchen to Plate.
